Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist specialising in nutritional support for neurodivergent children and complex health conditions.
My journey into naturopathic nutrition began with my own personal experience as a parent. As the mother of a child with autism, I spent many years researching and exploring different approaches to support my son's health and wellbeing.
During this time, I worked with a number of healthcare practitioners and explored areas such as biomedical approaches, nutrition, and functional medicine testing. These experiences played an important role in helping guide and support our journey toward improving my son's health.
Through this process I developed a deep interest in understanding how nutrition, metabolism, and environmental factors can influence health, particularly for children with complex needs. This ultimately led me to return to education and retrain as a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist with the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM).
Today, I combine both my professional training and lived experience as a parent to support families navigating similar challenges.
I have a strong passion for supporting children and young adults with additional needs, particularly those who may be experiencing complex health challenges such as digestive issues, allergies, nutrient imbalances, and other underlying health concerns.
My aim is to help families better understand the factors that may be influencing their child's health and to provide practical, compassionate, and personalised nutritional support.
I work using naturopathic principles, nutrition, and functional testing where appropriate to support the body's natural healing processes and overall wellbeing.
